Introducing Smokey Bear x Teton Gravity Research. As Summer approaches and the temperature warms up in the Tetons, we partnered with Smokey Bear and the United States Forest Service to remind folks about the importance of campfire and fire safety. In 2019, 87% of forest fires were started by humans. As Summer approaches, it’s important for us to start the conversation now and do our part to prevent wildfires.
Since 1944, Smokey Bear has promoted a message of preventing unwanted human-caused wildfires. A portion of the proceeds from officially licensed Smokey Bear merchandise helps fund the nationwide wildfire prevention campaign.
