Laura Obermeyer is a multi-media creative based in Aspen, Colorado. Their work spans from film making to illustration, and often thematically reflects on equestrianism, ski culture, and natural western environments. Laura’s most recent work is a ski film called “In Your Dreams”, which will be releasing online this fall. You can check out more of Laura’s work here.
Inspiration from the Artist: Front graphic includes a plein air illustration of the Tetons in mid summer as seen from Glacier Point, as well as the year 1996 when Teton Gravity Research was founded. Back graphic includes 35mm analog image shot at Jenny Lake, as well as a charcoal sketch of two team ropers, based off of an image I shot at the Teton Valley Rodeo in the summer of 2021.
