Inspiration from the Artist: The ride out is a term often used for the exit of landing in skiing with implication of style. The ride out can make or break the action leading up to it, and is of comparable importance to the trick itself.
That same style is shared by cow folk, who are cinching their saddle before the sun is up, and riding out to whatever the day has in store. Checking fences and afterbang may seem dissimilar, but the ride out is of equal importance.
